Hey guys,
Been in a slump lately and can't seem to get anything done. Finaly finished this guy and figured I'd put it up for critique.
Verlinden's offering of a Roman Legionary
120mm resin, painted with vallejo acrylics. The impedium (the stick with the leather pack and bed roll) is scratch built and sculpted using Aves Apoxie.

Thanks for the input.
regards,
Mike

Hey Mike--
Can't believe no one has commented on this one yet! It's a beauty. The scratchbuilt impedium is terrific--and the paint job really makes it look like leather. The armor is nicely done, too--all in all a great looking figure (and the base ain't too shabby either!)

Don't know how I missed this one Mike. Excellent job as Linda says. Great flesh tones and I too love that leather technique on the impedium. Whats next on your workbench?

Thanks Guy,

I have Verlinden's hopolite, but I really need to finish a Druid Models figure of a crossbowman, and a few other started pieces that are all sitting around on the bench in various states of paint.

To make matters worse, I just had an order from MTS come in today. Andrea's mounted knight c. 1400 in 90mm, White model's Infantry captain and the Andrea Agincourt vignette in 54mm. So my summer is a busy one. ;)

Very nice work how did you reproduce the armour? Looks very good! My only critique has nothing to do with your work but Verlinden faces seem to always look "strange" and too angular so good job paining the face to make it look good.
