A Fixture
Hi guys,
Now that I have my painting mojo back, I've dived into a bust that I recently bought and always loved; Castle Miniatures 200mm Roman Vexilliarus. Most of you know I have a weakness for Imperial Roman figures.
The bust is very simple to build. You add the cheek guards and its done.
I painted the base colours in acrylic and then apply thin washes of oils over the acrylics to add depth and tone to the colours.
The face is more or less finished and now I'm moving on to the metallic colours on the cheek guards and the helmet. Aft that I'll tackle the bear hide.
As always I welcome any comments or questions.
