Many thanks Tony, Dim and Andrea, I have been working hard today on the second figure and will post up some progress later today.

Hi All
Well this is where I am at with this at the moment. Got most of the base work finished today and dropped the first of the three figures into place to see how it all looks. Got some more of the second figure painted, just a few details left to do then glue all the bits on. The third figure is near completion but I did not photo graph him as he is in the drying out box, should have the whole thing completed in the next two weeks.
I was going to have a horse on there as well as the three figures but the casting was so bad that I was not prepared to spend the time on it to put it right, one half of the horse was twisted during the casting, very poor kit, it went into the bin out of frustration.
Next posting should be of the complete thing then it’s on to something else.
Cheers
Tommi

Hi Tommy , i was waiting for your next steps.. I' sorry for your horse, i suggested you the same kit  , but i think you can find other branch horses..however that may be ... really for me is a stunning work !! love the groundwork the same way love how you painted the figure , excellent colours choice .

Cheers Stefano

This is really looking great Tommi. I love the base and pillars and your Romans are beautiful. I look forward to seeing the finished scene.

Hi Tommi,

Hope you are now feeling better - the two figures and groundwork are looking superb - keep us posted.

I really like the ruined pillars and good to hear that Soldiers Models have improved their castings. They do produce some interesting Romans.

Ciao
Franco

Hi Tommi,

Wow, that´s some beautiful painted figures! And I´m absolutely stunned what you did to our column sets, it´s great how you combined the two sets! An absolute magnificent paint job on the columns and the rest of the groundwork! I´m looking forward to see the endresult.

Cheers,
