A Fixture
Moving along, This is where I am at.
The Jacket is a mixture from The Powel book. It is two cadmium Orange, one light green and 8 Titanium white. I also added a little deep cadmium red in the shadows and used the Burnt sienna for the lining colour as well as in the shadows since it has orange in it.
I can see lots of touch ups needed
The red scarf has an attempt at a pattern and looks as thought I need to sharpen it up.
My wife's parents used to have a pub in the UK called the Black Swan and it was located in South Creake, Fakenham Norfolk.
It dated back to 1789 and is now a historic land mark and no longer a pub. It had a tunnel from the pub all the way out to the sea and the pirates used to use the tunnel and stash their stuff in the Pub.
This is the pub that started the saying "Put it on the slate". The slate was on the wall behind the two entry doors to a small room and was still on the wall when Maureen lived there. The wall were 18 inches thick.
Her fathers name is Frederick King and is listed in the records second from the last owner.
