Greetings all! I bought this at last months Lone Star Figure Show. This kit is titled as , 'Ronin, 1650' by Andrea Miniatures. Its in white metal and I got it cleaned up in about 30 minutes. Primed it with el cheapo black auto primer ( my favorite ), and painted him up using Andrea and Vallejo acrylics. Let me know what you think.

Clean, simple & atmospheric Joe :)
Howdy Mike! That is I think what attracted me to this figure. First, its a good sculpt with a simple pose. He wears no uniform, just some ragged garb, but his weapons clearly mark him as a warrior. This project was fun to research and paint. Thanks for you comments Mike!

Fantastic results Joe. I too use the cheap stuff for priming, never had a problem yet. The sword especially stands out, very nice rendering of those marks you see on these blades, well done
