Paris based bookshop and publishers Le Livre Chez Vous have annuonced a re-edition of the whole series of Rousselot French Army Uniform plates. That includes the non-napoleonic ones, which have been unavailable and much sought after for a looong time. The only drawback is they will be published as a book, not as single plates, and at 270 € it will be quite a pricey one!

Rousselot plates are considered THE source for French napoleonic uniform info by enthusiasts. You can find a short review and full list at Napoleon Series

Cheap versus buynig the plates one by one, especially as they icnlude the whoe set. The only drawback I expect is that teh English descriptions will not be included. The written commentary that accompanies the pates is very valuable and an English translation accompanied the lpates when reissued in teh 70's.

I have ordered Ltd Edn books from Le Livre Chez Vous in the apst and the quality is superb!

Make no mistake, I'd LOVE THESE..... but they are a bit pricey, and if they're not in Enlgish, well my French doesn't stretch that far. Don't get me wrong, I've got two French language reference books, but they're not nearly as good or enjoyable as I can only look at the pictures.
Shame, as these beautiful works of art, as that's what they are, are I fear out of the reach of most of us.

Not sure if this is proper form but I have 66 Rousselot Plates for sale. All are in a portfolio and are in excellent condition. Any thoughts on how to sell?
