Just finished this beautifully sculpted Tartar Miniature's figure.I think i'll have to weather the shield a bit but as heraldry is my nemisis i'm hesitating as i'm pleased with the shields result.
Still struggling on getting the lighting spot on when taking pictures.

The figure is made after a scuplture on his grave at the Frankfurt cathedral...:

However, according to this model the white fields and beams should be yellow...:

This part of the coat-of-arms is the coat of arms of the Von Praunheim family, where Rudolf was coming from. Strictly heraldic spoken,it's not a tree, but three red blossoms. But the artist of the effigy decided to "connect" these blossoms tree-like.
