Hello again,
here is another project that is almost ready for the trip to WE. Schratcbuild except for the converted head, which is from Military Alliance and the gun from Reedees.
Here is also a quiz. In which city is this fighter running?

Great work Pekka, Beautifully modeled and a great sense of wariness and movement.
Just going by the green headband and light clothing I'll opt for a supporter of Gaddafi
running across Green Square in Tripoli.
Cheers

Al-Qassim brigade of Hamas so I'd say Beirut or Gaza. And very nice too.

How about either Sevastapol or Simferopol in Ukraine ...... pretty sure the cross design on the ground is based on the Ukranian Rushnyk Embroidery tradition of southern East Podillia :D

Nice work Pekka, I like what you have done with this figure, I am guessing he is Islamic fighter in Chechnya due to the green headband.

And we have a winner; Sarajevo it is. I visited Sarajevo few years ago and was inspired by the Olympic signs still present in the pavement. The 84 Games were very good for Finland as we won plenty medals. Different kind of nutrients those days for the ahtletes, eh? So my figure depicts a Bosniak fighter during the siege in the 90s.
Thank you all for commenting.

Arent self respecting Glaswegians imagenary creatures just like trolls, faires and eskimoes? :joyful:

Great work Pekka. I think this is one of your best.

Cheers

Quite the reverse Janne ..We have an entirely justified high opinion of ourselves ...basically we're the High Elves ....
The rest of you lot are still slowly climbing the evolutionary ladder

After years of admiring Pekka's work online I finally got to see this in the flesh at Stresa and wasn't dissapointed. Didn't get to meet him due to the rolling masses of people at the Show though.
