Russian Commercial Nap. Personalities

I stumbled across Andre Arsenyev's web site and found some very beautiful and inspiring French Napoleonic personality figures that I haven't seen elsewhere. I'm not a big fan of the Russian icon/textile painting style when applied to ancients and medievals as the research looks dodgy to me. But the Napoleonic French personalities look well sculpted and painted and they are not bad likenesses too. These figs. have great detail for 54mm's

No where do I get unpainted castings?

Hello Colin,

Russian Vytiaz do not sell kits, only painted figures. The only way to get an unpainted miniature is to know personally the sculptor or somebody from inside of the company.

......Or to buy a painted one, strip it down and have a go! Given the recent prices for Andrea and Pegaso figures, that might not work out to be a lot more expensive.
