Russian Cossack Bust

Anybody know who painted this bust? Saw this at the Chicago show and it was beautiful work. Just didn't catch what he or she used for the flesh tones.

That's a conversion I belive, possibly scratchbuilt. Roughly 1/9 scale if I remember correctly. I think Gary's right, TnT will probably get you more specific information. I know Tim paints with acrylics.

Yeah John, for some reason it has that "painted in acrylic" look about it whatever that means.

Hi
As a former oil painter who has embraced the Acrylic medium.
I avoid the "The Acrylic Painted Look" in two ways

1. By using Citadel inks (they have a slight sheen)

2.Gently "Polishing" rubbing facial highlight areas with a damp
paint brush

This operation goes some way to achieving a "Blended" effect

As for the Cossack bust I like it and I am sure the painter
enjoyed producing it.

Good tips! If I can paint flesh tones half as well as that Cossack bust, I will be EXTREMELY satisfied.

What I meant by the "painted in acrylic" look, was that the colors were very vibrant.
