Hi all,
Some time ago Master Box released a set of WW2 Russian marines in 1/35 scale. I was especially hooked on one of the figures illustrated on the box art. However, when I got the kit in my hands I soon realised that the plastic figure required a bit of work to suit my needs.
I decided to remove all the creases and fine details from the entire figure. I only kept the actual pose. I then re-sculpted a new uniform and details as well as a complete set of new arms to fit the ppSh-41 in a natural way. A few spare parts from my old scrap box also came in handy to complete the figure. Finally I replaced the original head with one from the Hornet range and sculpted the sailor hat.
With a bit of luck I will have some paint on it soon
cheers!
