Roger and Pete, Thank you Guys,
It's alwas great to here from you two fellows as you are both a good sorce of inspiration. I am pleased that you both like it.
This time in the afternoon is good for sculping and painting in my cave but not good for photography.
Here are a couple more pics but not too much improvement.
See what you think.
Thanks again
All the best,
Keith

Very nicely done Keith, my favourite large scale figure from the past couple of years. It's been well worth following this.
A very impressive result (y)
What I particularly like is the quality of you photos make mine look like David Baileys work :p
Cheers
Derek

Cheers Derek,
How is your example coming along?
I will try to chose a better lens next time......or photographer.
All the very best,
Keith

Hi Keith,
Fancy making him a stereotypical "Jock" emptying the grog barrel:rolleyes:;). No offence meant my Northern Brothers.(y)

Mate, I think that is a lovely piece of work and what a fantastic informative SBS with kilt etc. I will certainly review that one in the future. Ron's base and the name plaque certainly compliment your piece very well. Again great work my mate, I love what you have achieved.(y)
As for the photo's............looks like a chimp has taken them.

It's on the back burner at the moment Keith. Not because I've lost interest but the past few months was spent getting stuff painted for the Herzog von Bayern show and now I want to get a couple of complicated pieces prepared for Euro.
Will do a bit here and there and try some new techniques particularly with acrylics.
Cheers

Hi Richie.
Good to hear from you Mate.
I always value your view on My stuff. Pleased that you like this one.
Agree with you on the base and name plate, they both work well for me and are both top quality.
Thanks for chimp picture, much appreciated. I'll pin it up in the studio as a reminder to do better.

We hope that all is well with you both
Cheers Mate,
Keith

Good luck with your exhibits Derek but knowing your work you don't need luck.

Fantastic job Keith... Be proud of this one! The red, the tartan, fleshtones, detail... all spot on.
Final presentation is great.

All round excellent work on a really nice sculpt.

Cheers

Nice work Keith. I've been following this one quietly and it's nice to see it completed. I find myself increasingly drawn to Victorian Highlanders and work like yours is a true inspiration. Many thanks (y)

Billy :)
