IM SO SORRY

We will miss you Roy.

Alex.

I was an admirer of Roy's work. We had exchanged a few emails. I told him that I really loved his storm child diorama. So may times we forget that children are an innocent part of every war. His figures poignantly reminded us of the real human cost of war. I was very taken with his work and e-mailed him to tell him that. He had some kind words about the figures I am now in process of producing. I only hope that the figures I produce in the future will be half as affecting as his work. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
Rest in peace Roy.

From Pat Hunt, Roys Wife.

Dear friends,
Please let me take this opportunity to thank you all for your heart felt messages for my wonderful husband and best friend, Roy. Your messages have given me strength and courage. Myself and Roys 10 children had not realised until now how respected and admired he was by all. This makes us even more proud of him.
We would like to invite you all to pay your respects to Roy next week. The ceremony will be held on Friday 15th August at 15:30 at the Falconwood Crematorium in Eltham, London, SE9.
Roy always believed you should dress for comfort, so please feel free to dress in whatever you wish.
Kind regards
Pat x

Just back from my vacation and then seeing this. This is a slam in my face.

One of the dearest , nicest men I ever met. Met Roy a couple of times at Euro and he was always in foor a good conversation. I painted his Ronin and he was really satisfied with my creation.
But what i really should mis is our little talks at Euro, with that big smile off him.

A true lost for our community, a great loss for the world.

Marc
