Not been around for a while.....computer problems
Life and work generaly getting in the way

Just found this on the Andrea site........Have ordered one
from Historex....dont know who the sculptor or painter is

Its called "The Last Daimyo"....and seems to represent the character
portrayed by Ken Watanabi ...in the movie "The Last Samurai"
I think the animation on this piece is terrific

Hi Frank, you are rigth the face is just amazing, there would be a exhibition on the Royals armouries of Leed next month about one of the greatest Samurais, Lord Ieyasu, you should check it if want some inspiration on samurai armours.
