We have more space than before, which means over 2.500 sq meters of scale model frenzy.

What do we have planned for you:
• An international collection of modelling clubs.
Interested clubs are invited to register their stand through our website!
• A huge, and above all, varied selection of trade for AFV, Figure and Sci/Fantasy/Table Top enthusiasts.
• Our special guests this year: Phil Stutcinskas, Marion and Alan Ball,
and Marijn van Gils.
• A fantastic modelling competition
• Demonstrations, presentations, the popular and humorous Classic Model Airplane Throwing Contest, a photo exhibition commemorating the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Eindhoven during Market Garden, re-enactors, 1/1 vehicles and much more.
• Join us at the pre-show diner on Saturday
• And thanks to our sponsors you can still enjoy all of this FOR FREE!

Read all about it on our website: http://www.scalemodelfactory.nl[/URL]

Hi everyone,

call it bad timing if you will, in the middle of Summer Holidays, but we have an update about our show, Scale Model Challenge 2009.

First off, please note that we put a lot more emphasis on figures this year, with more specific figure categories and a top notch figure jury with names like Marian and Alan Ball, Le van Quang (PiliPili Miniatures), Konrad Schulte (Fredericus Rex) and Marijn van Gils. Plus plenty of figure specialists to replenish your figure stocks and to empty your wallets :D

We have a one day show, but we thought you might appreciate our effort to offer you something extra, on the Saturday before the show.
We have finalized our Early Bird Program, which includes a visit to the Overloon Liberty Museum where you can check out a great collection of armor and uniforms.

For those wanting to stay in Eindhoven for the weekend, we have also made a fair deal with the Holiday Inn Eindhoven.

Please check our website for the on line Early Bird brochure, The Holiday Inn deal, registration forms and other information.

You can find us at: http://www.scalemodelfactory.nl

Cheers,

Robert Crombeecke

Hi there,

With less than three weeks to go to Scale Model Challenge 2009 it is time for an update.

First: Those of you who had wanted to go to Le Petit Soldat, please note that we put a lot of emphasis on figures this year, so you might consider paying a visit to our show and get the best of both worlds: figures and armour :)

With floor space increased with 30%, SMC now reaches 2.500 square meters packed with 21 clubs and nearly 60 traders from 8 different countries. A floor plan is available on our website now.
More competition tables, more figure categories, and lots of prizes to earn for those entering into the competition. Besides that, all who register for the competition receive a small, but useful and unique present.
Our international jury contains many renowned names: Marion and Alan Ball, Le Van Quang, Marijn van Gils, Lester Plaskitt, Phil Stutcinskas, Mario Eens, Kristof Pulinckx, Volker Bembennek and many more.
We have again some very special guests:
Phil Stutcinskas, Marion Ebensperger-Ball and Alan Ball will conduct demonstrations and
Marijn van Gils and Alan Ball will hold special presentations.

And there is more to be found at SMC 2009: Table top demonstrations, 1/1 vehicles and re-enactors, a photo exhibition commemorating the liberation of Eindhoven during Market Garden, Documentation Centre '40-' 45, a huge tombola, the Kids Club and of course the hilarious Classic Model Aircraft Throwing Competition.

If you come early, enlist to the Early Bird Program on Saturday October 17: a visit to the Overloon armour museum "Liberty Park" and in the evening a buffet diner at the Holiday Inn Flo restaurant. A package price is available if you list for both parts of the program.

For hotel accommodations please check the offer from Holiday Inn or find other accommodations on our website.

All information about SMC 2009 and more can be found on our website:

Be there and make the difference!

Anyway, i see you there, and looking forward to it.

Marc

Hi Marc,
So the roadsigns near Eindhoven still comman "navigation out"!!!!
Yep, although some new exits are on the latest navigation software, but you have to download that first.

Code:
When they get finish the highway there....
June 2010, so in time for SMC 2010 ;)

By the way, the problem is that the most obvious exit (#32) cannot be taken legally when you come from Belgium, as you'd have to cross a line. But early on Sunday, you can always try :D
Next challenge are the construction works on the road leading from exit 32 to the Eindhovense School.
That's why we put alternative and trouble free routes on our website.

See you on Sunday.

oh I was there and those route diversions drove me and my father craaaazzyyyyy:eek:

anyway the show was worth it.

I sadly couldnt see Marijns presentations to the end.But Marion Balls painting was also great!

Hope to be there next year.

see you!

Andreas
