Hi all, I'm after a little help and (having searched the forum) can't find what I'm after.

A little context that you might enjoy; I recently got the FAQ figures book, I tend to avoid AK since 'the incident' but it looked (and turned out to be) fantastic. I was sitting at the table flicking through it when my 7 year old daughter peered over my shoulder and started pointing to the figures she thought were cool, mostly the sci-fi punk type female figures. One thing that really struck me was that she seems to have a pretty intuitive grasp of colour theory, I suspect partly it's being a child and spending a lot of time playing with colours but either way I really enjoyed our chat.

The practical upshot of this is that I want to pick up some figures for us to play with in a similar style and am struggling to find any online that fit the bill. I think the best way to describe the genre is 'sci-fi punk' or fantasy, ideally female and (here's the hard part) not naked apart from a tiny piece of 'boob armour' or in a suggestive pose. I'm also after figures that are relatively inexpensive so that I can pick up a couple and my daughter and I can paint them together - STL files to 3d print would be perfect in that regard.

The best I've found so far is Val from Neko Galaxy (https://www.greenstuffworld.com/en/neko-galaxy/2764-neko-galaxy-val-k.html), I plan on picking one up at some point but it's a bit pricey for a 7 year old to play with.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

These are the 3 main sources for decent quality 3D print stls:

https://www.myminifactory.com

https://cults3d.com

If you have the file any print farm on Etsy will print it for you in whatever scale you want it pretty cheaply. Shipping is generally more than the print so look for printers nearby.

Otherwise just browse Etsy itself, the search function is pretty good. Sci-Fi or Sci-Fantasy are the most popular genre in the 3D world so you have thousands to choose from.

Why don't you give Masterbox a chance. They are plastic but quite decent sculpts and not very expensive.I think they have some Post-apocalyptic female subjects that might fit your bill.

Oda.

Thanks, a friend recommended those yesterday, I'll definitely be taking a look.

Thanks Nap, some nice stuff on there, I've broadened my search to different scales.

Cheers Mirosoft, although I must admit I had googled a whole range of search terms (including those) before asking here.
