Just noticed I hadn't posted this when completed.
Old Pegaso Gladiator and definitely the most menacing of the bunch.
From the WIP post you'll notice I did file and sand the wings off the cuirass.
Nice easy build and paint really not much more than a weekends work.
Cheers
Derek

Another winner there Del. Great work on the figure but the backdrop is equally good and sets him off perfectly.

My personal favourite of the Pegaso 54mm Gladiators (and the only one I've painted), he looks like he's stepped straight out of a Mad Max film.

I like it a lot and everything works together : figure, backdrop and even the wood base

Hi Del

What's not to like ...fine presentation all over , the groundwork and the backdrop works really well ...you can almost smell the sweat!

Excellent painting and presentation Del.
All the more so since it's around a weekend's work.

Cheers,
Andrew

Work of that quality in only a weekend...? That is nothing short of amazing and this is a great finished piece and overall presentation!

Weekend!!! Would love to achieve this in a month. Beautifully done Del.

Cheers guys. Honestly a dawdle to paint
When you break it down it's only a couple of pieces of plasticard a bit of square plastic tubing and a wipe of miliput textured with a toothbrush.
As for the figure the only bit of real painting was the 'kilt' and that was left over orange oils from my landsknechts.
Even the cuirass was only burnt siena oils over the same orange wet on dry.
Sometimes we all try too hard when we should just relax into the process.

Great job Del you produced a great model mate.
Dennis

Much apreciated mate. We're really missing a catch up ....... S&L really needs to be a two day show.(y)
Planning a wee post apocalypse scene and was thinking back to your 'McDonalds' scene from a few years
ago.
Take care give the guys our best wishes and hope to see you soon.
