Hey guys, this is my latest painting effort. It's the scots fusilier in 75mm sculpted by Carl Reid. Fun to paint but it's not a beginners' figure. The flag alone took more time to do than the actual figure. Apologies for the below par pics. Need to take a few more.

Steve

Excellent finish Stephen! And well done on the flag, I can imagine it took more time than the figure.

Cheers,
Marcel.

" The flag alone took more time to do than the actual figure". I agree 100%. Sometimes, people thinks that a flag is a simple accesory, but most of times has more work than a figure.
Excellent work, Stephen, I like very much the gold in letters, crown and decorations, the light and shadows and the cleanness all over. Really seems fabric.

Stephen Great bit of work on this figure and your rendering of the flag is superb. Love the way you have finished the work on the flag with the lettering being particularly well done.
Certainly up to your usual very high standard.
Know what you mean about the difficulty of the painting, watched Davie Mitchell doing his and as you say its not a beginners figure. But it brings a great result.

Stephen, Nice paint job, flag looks great and the right way up, if that is your poor quality pictures tell me how you do it :awesome: I like Carl,s figures they have a certain panache but you are right they suit the experienced modeler.
