Right guys, my new figure which I completed recently. I have taken on board the advice that I was given. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed painting it.

Baronband for the cam cream I just used pastel chalk (brown and Black) and when then just brushed off the excess which gave the look as if it had been on a couple of hours :) and thank you for your comments.

Lovely bit of work Carl, very good indeed. Great camo work and boots and puttees are super.
Like how you have kept the SLR as clean(?) as you could, makes it look much more real.
Super

Don

Nice work Carl, you really did put all that advice to good use, boots look excellent as does the DPM.

great job,

Steve

Not sure I like the face (too dark, not enough highlights) but the rest of it is top-notch. The camo looks great.

Steve, the face looks slightly darker than it should and this is due to my having brushed off the excess of pastel chalk which I used for the cam cream. I looked at some photos of when I was wearing cam cream and my skin looked a little bit darker so decided to leave the face as it was. Thank you for your feedback, for some reason I really enjoy painting DPM but have not plucked up the courage to try the new MTP even though a friend of mine gave me a jacket to use as reference.

Carl a very realistic rendition of a British soldier in field/battle conditions, well done mate. You are right about the camo cream ingraining it self into your flesh, and from the state of his boots he is now wearing Directly Moulded Socks.
A great paint job one you can be proud of.
Dennis

Carl I forgot to ask, what figure is it? I haven't seen it before. 120mm right? Point taken about the cam cream.
