Taking a break from Big Joe... something on dark side... Wings burned , going to do them again, hood/cowl is still to come.....

thanks Dan, i was trying to capture likeness of another actor from Kelly's heroes but wasn't satisfied and ended with this character... it's not my cuppa too, but I will try to paint it ....

The winged evil character is an uncommon and good idea for a bust.
Do you plan to add texturing detail scratches to the wings for small wrinkles and worn fabric look to the clothing during the painting?
 
Thanks guy's for comments. Honestly , I'm still thinking what's next on this one... maybe to add something like medallion on chain around neck or thinking of sculpting flames on base (like he's emerge out of flames), really I'm not sure...
 
A small rough 2 x 2 inch pencil drawing might help you think of the proportions and where each flame starts and ends.
If you add flames i think they should be easily detachable in case you change you mind.
Maybe flames on the torso base may cover the outline of the tips of the wings when you look from the front.
I personally like it without the flames and a medallion would be nice,adding more materials to the painting part and dark magic to the character.
