The white wasn't added until 1917.

Yes it is painted Carl. Looks good with a optivisor.. I made the bar from putty.
At the moment i'm making a "casualty" clearing station (large tent) from leadfoil and balsa wood, just to let him stand in front.
Whas the color of the tent white or khaki. Can't see it on pictures.
