WOW, just got back from a weeks holiday and seen this, what sad news:(. I wonder if the moulds or masters could be sold off, I have several of their figures and always looked foward to their monthly releases, the latest mounted templar kit is as good as anything else on the market, real shame.

It is a shame to see a manufacturer of such high quality kits call it quits. I thought it pretty classy of them to make an official statement. I think geography was the key factor working against them. ~Gary

I am shocked bt this news. I am an avid purchaser of Seil and I am only new to the hobby, 10 of my 15 purchaes have been Seil. they have the best product and packaging that i have seen.

Ian I will have to get around to see you soon.

Mark

No worries Mark, when your ready drop around :)

It funny, March/April are normally very slow months for me, but Seil's sad news has had an impact on my sales with people not wanting to miss out on figures, i have sold roughly 10 times the amount of stock i would of this time last year.

I wonder what will happen to the moulds? I am not so concerned about the 'girlie figures, but some of the 75, 90 and 200mm figures/busts ought to be saved for future generations of modellers. I would certainly be interested in giving a couple of moulds a home!

I suspect they produced too much too quickly !

No, it's called lack o de fundz! The investor pulled out of the company and metal figures are too costly to produce.

99% the masters and molds will not be sold to anyone . So i dont think that we will see these pieces recirculating .

The investor was the owner of the company, and the problem was not lack of funds, but the reality of how hard is to keep the quality up, while the numbers of selling are not the same high.

So as the investment was not giving back the money spent, it was normal to shut it off... Thats life
