After a long time of being away of figure painting i decided to come back and start with this beautiful Pegaso bust of a Seleucid General.
As i usualy do i painted with oils over acrylics. Hope you like it so far!

thank you all for your kind wirds.
for the bronze i used acrylics from the games workshop range. Brown and bronze. Painted several light coats starting from dark bronze until the final coat which was pure bronze. After the acrylics were dry i covered the bronze areas with vandyke brown oil and then remove the excess using a brush leaving the oil only at the recess and the darker areas.
Hope that helps mate!

excellent work Periklis.
Now you did it. The eyes are so real that i have decided to paint (at least i will try) the eyes on my Roman Signifire bust like this. Hope i can do it.
