Very nice figure.Do forgive me but I thought sergeant's had three stripes on the sleeve,but I am probably wrong.
 
Gorgeous! From my point of view is one of the best highlanders I have seen in the market. I like figures in motion and the character is very vivid. Tartan is amazing ...can not imagine how is possible to paint it in a sooo detailed way :)))
 
This figure is portrayed wearing the rank distinction of colour sgt. Instituted in 1813 at the request of wellington as a means of offering advance through the ranks for the men. Earlier there where sergeants galore and only 1 sgt. Major in most battalions.
He's actually wearing a diced woollen hummel bonnet with feathers drooping across from
behind the plume, and silk rosette.
If the bonnet top was a much darker blue it would probably look more natural to your eye.
I think it's lovely jubbly
