One from CGS miniatures that I have just completed today. Uniform painted in acrylics and oils for the face.
A lovely sculpt to paint form the hands of DF Grieve, scale is 80mm.
I did add some lead loops to the rear of the figure on the rolled cape, just looked better than the resin one's.
Thanks for looking.

Lovely job Bob...love the greatcoat...(y)

Excellent work, Bob. I like what you’ve done with the SMLE, wooden furniture looks great, & the Slade-Wallace equipment is superb.

That’s a splendid rendition of a Guards NCO...Confident and Professional.

Very nice work and painting

Mike, Chris, Grenadier and Mobo, Thank you for the great comments it was a pleasure painting this one. Glad I made a Grenadier look proud.

Can any one tell me, why the nickname The bill browns.

Well Bob, you take off your Beret and hold two knuckles up to the circular part of the highly polished grenade badge and the reflection looks just like two buttocks...Bill Brown!
The other explanation is Bill Brown is a generic name for a Grenadier Guard, a bit like Tommy Atkins or Johnny Cope to a British Soldier.

Lovely work as always Bob. Particularly like the handling of the greatcoat. Regards Pete

Super work Bob, I do like DFG's sculpting, I have a few early ones.

Geoff
Fantastic painting Bob! The subtle shading and highlighting works perfect for this figure. Spit and polish for sure. (y)

Cheers,
Ken

Thank you for the comments, they are all appreciated and yes if DF Grieve were available once more, I'd paint 'em.
Regards to you all and stay safe.
