Series 77 re-birth?

Hope this in not a verboten topic... but am wondering the Status of the Series 77 line?

An announcement was made a few years ago that many of the figures were coming back into production... am just curious if they are following through (I do understand that many original Series 77 figures are available via eBay).

I heard the same rumors about a personal favorite of mine, Ron Hinote's Little Generals line a few years ago too. Nothing came of it either.

I actually have the link in my original post...

I was pulling for them. Some of the kits still stand up quite well... and some have a certain charm to them.

I have been selectively grabbing them off of eBay. (And perhaps that is the issue? There are too many yet available?)
