Hi, just anted to know when fixing a model (54mm) together what's the best glue and is it worth pinning? also when filing gaps should I do this as I glue or after? should I glue the figure together then paint or do it in pieces then glue?, if after how do I deal with gap filing along a good paint job? I have done wargame figures and even have a 1/35 project on the go (getting ready for my leap into 54mm's)

Thanks in advance

I use super glue James. Some fully assemble the figure, I tend to build subassemblies to make it easier to paint. As for the filling, I do that after gluing.
Hope that helps,
Carl.

Hi James, it's always worth trying a quick search to check for any previous threads on something that might have come up before. Here are a few of the previous threads on assembling before painting or working in subassemblies, and pinning:

Cheers guys, had a look through them posts as well. I'm pretty sure I'll subassemble before painting, will any modelling clay do to fill gaps?
