Just ordered mine along with the Nolan 75mm. I still have the one below in my grey army - anyone remember it?

Hi Guys ,

Thought I had this somewhere ...I think was Imperial Gallery , looks like it was inspired from the same picture I think , nice addition with the busby but I prefer MMM's version as the hairsyle is cracking , that together with the cap at a rakish angle adds something else to a good looking bust.

Nice work Jim and Gordon, saw this when first sculpted and loved it, reminds me of the Crimea stamps the Royal Mail did and great to see now produced.
Very nice mate and can I grab one at Darlington please.
Best wishes to you both.

Yep Imperial Gallery quite an old kit now. As Nap says the cap on MMM's version gives it an authentic veteran feel whereas the busby is too "parade looking" for me. I was thinking of adding a VC but wouldn't be historically accurate for the 11th Hussars.

I`ve just been told by Stuart at stormtroopers that i sculpted the imperial gallery one but for the life of me i can`t remember doing it, must have been ages ago.
Maybe Rob Hardwick can confirm or not.
Anyway sorry for detracting from the original post, i think its better too.

Lovely piece and ain't it great when even the sculptors get to see their pieces of the past.
A great bunch of folks
Best wishes

Moz is this one of yours? I understand if you don't remember doing it though....

i might have been a bit generous in other areas too.

Hey Moz ,

I reckon you are right the hair is far too bushy ...sorry guys couldn't resist ..off track slightly !!!

SWMBO has informed me I did have the Imperial Gallery but sold it a while back (how does she know that!!!)...I agree about the busby making it look too parade ..but that said It is a nice piece as well .

Either way ..It seems that Sgt B is a hit and I hope it does well for MMM and well done to my mate Jimbo .

All I can add is this is my type of humour.

Best wishes

Thanks for all the kind words with regards to the sculpting side of things on this, I must admit I'm bit blown away with the good reaction to it.

Superb humour too! you can't beat it!(y)
Cheers
