Thanks Andrew, I don't mind buying but I like having a go at making things, the bit I really don't like is painting them as I struggle with the colours and tones for some reason,that's why I mainly just do figures on a basic base!! I'm hoping your book will show me what I'm doing wrong.I created that base for Tommy's War and it doesn't bother me that you copied it rather than using it. You've done a great job. The Germans liked using woven hurdles as they noticed that they could flex and fall back from a nearby explosion more than other types of revetment.
