I guess this might ignite the half figure/bust debate but I do like this and the US Airborne in this form.
Life's too short to waste painting legs!

That's one heck of a lot of new releases today Gordon.

Geoff

Everything seems to be coming to a head at once this weekend Geoff and am under the cosh time wise. I will hopefully be handing over some duties to my sons soon. They have youth and enthusiasm on their side but I can usually counter these qualities with old age and treachery.
I know what you mean about busts/half figures, legs - no legs. I get a number of requests from modellers who only collect busts and only want the top half of my full 200mm figures . This way the bust enthusiasts can save a bit of money so these releases will keep all my customers happy.....I know, who am I trying to kid! lol
All the best

The 200mm figure range are outstanding, but in my personal opinion I prefer the bust format because they bring more intensity (this is a personal preference alone, ok guys :angelic: )

So, even knowing this is a result from a conversion, and not a pure product developed as a bust, I find that the end result is outstanding: The output is superb and with tons of character to live in my shelves: Clearly one to add ASAP!

I am in the middle of painting the full sized figure, I can only recommend purchasing the figure or the bust as the detail is amazing, now all I have to do is to start the camouflage on the Denison Smock, not really looking forward to it as I have spent a fair few hours shading and highlighting the jacket, with a normal DPM jacket takes me 4 attempts to get it right. The results will be posted when the figure is finished :)
