I had a lot of fun painting this new figure from Blast Model - Sharpe is one of my favourite TV series!

It's an excellent sculpt and the parts fit together very well.

Hope you like it!

Excellent job on old Richard Sharpe! Love the way you pulled off the rifle green color.(y) and facial features. He really looks like he is in the field fighting the French! And it looks like Sean Bean as well! Thanks for sharing your work!

Excellent paint job and weathering! I painted the Andrea version of Sharpe and it looked nothing like Sean Bean. Yours came out much better. I did not see the TV series, but read a number of the books. Please do not take these comments as against your execution. For the figure, the head does look a bit large, the rifle does not appear to be the English Baker rifle that his unit used and the sword looks too small for the unusual English heavy cavalry sword that Sharpe had. The details of the uniform look great and the base fits well with his many battles in Spain.

Thanks Edward. I have more than a few lads from the 95th to paint including MMMs 200mm Sharpe. I will try your palette out on one of them for sure.
