Dear Smudger1960,
I would raise my question about WWI US pilots as a separate question, but a new thread requires entering a user name to address it to.
Being new to the forum, I do not know other users. I guess that is one way to keep out the riffraff. So, I will do my research elsewhere.
Thank you,

Ive managed to get round to preparing the German for priming,i've added a armband made out of Milliput which will represent he is a saxon soldier from the only non Prussian rifle regiment, these armbands were worn by assault troops during the somme campaign,i've primed the helmets hands and revolver case, the revolver cords I have replaced with Verlinden products flexible tubing (Kit No 47),I have also replaced the cord which was cast around the tommy's neck again with this tubing,i've also opened up the sleeve seams a little on both arms using Milliput.
All the items were primed using Halfords grey primer and put aside for 24hrs to completely dry.
Very well done details, both in setting and figures.
As always I love your work, particularly these imaginative sets for busts.
I'm very eager to see the final result!
very original, and possible: in the trenches of the north of France (Vimy, near Arras, where i was born), sometimes, the space between an allies and a german's trenche is 2 or 3 meters, incredible ...but true !
