If you're intimidated by the box art and produce this, you're really underestimating yourself! This is excellent (y)

An excellent painting that deserve another work on the hair...

Cheers,
Pedro.

Thanks Pedro , I know what you mean about the hair ,but I made her hair very yellow for a reason ,I think the figure looks a bit dull with all the different browns and earthy colors so I wanted the hair to be very colorful and not so realistic.

Cheers

This is really fantastic work. This is as good as the box art in IMO. I like the way you have painted different materials and details on this bust. Great job!

Thanks Storm , there is a amazing amount of detail on this bust , thanks for noticing the work that went into it .

Brilliant work, that's hyper realistic, even the chains in her hair are awesome, I know how I feel when I look at Myeong Ha Hwangs box top art or someone like Ben Komets work and wonder "how am I meant to replicate that", then realise I don't have to.
Use whatever paint scheme you want once the flesh tones are out of the way, and yours are superb, down to the highlights on the back of her hand, if it's from a film still with a well know figure like Lagertha then yes you can stick to those colours but hey, your kit your rules, I love it, well done.
Regards.
Mick.

Thanks Mick , Have to admit I almost painted her with red hair just to be different ,but changed my mind at the last minute !

Outstanding!!

Even more so that it is your first one done with acrylics!... That is superb work.

Beautifully done.

Cheer's,
Jeff.

Thanks Jeff . I dont think I cauld have done all that fine detail with Oils , Acrylics seem to be easier with the really fine stuff .

Cheers

I agree with Gary totally on this..looks great love the leather work and the hair colour

Thanks for sharing

Nap

Thanks Nap . I am glad you like the hair color because I purposly made it very yellow to bring a bit more color into the bust because there are so many browns and earthy colors ,I didnt want it looking to dull and monotone .

Neil

Hi Mario,
I guess I'm not posting anything different from all the previous posts, but would also like to add that I really think you've done a commendable job on her eye's. From someone just starting out and also just starting to use acrylic I can really appreciate your workmanship here.
Chris.
