Here is a little more progress I changed the hair a little, warmed the leather, added a little more contrast to the face and toned down the blue. Still more work to do, but progressing nicely.

Thanks guys! I am currently a grad student, and up until a week or so ago I was between semesters and had quite a bit of free time. I am back in school so things will slow down a little. ;)

As far as the wood, it is almost entirely washes. I used primarily some Scale 75 inks and some Army Painter inks. A few of the grains were picked out in some shadow color or highlight color. The other thing that enhances the look is the primer. I did not thin it down with the water, the thicker solution added more of a texture to the surface that the wash helps pick up.

Not sure why the images loaded sideways, I will see if fincan fix that.

So I should have been doing homework today, but I finished this instead. I am still trying to figure my camera out, I might post some different pictures later. This is just a teaser shot, the rest are in the "finished" forum
