My wife and Grand daughter leave for Paris at the end of the month. I looked for the thread about shops in Paris but could not find it. Could some of you email me the addresses and phone numbers ( and website if available ) of some figure shops in Paris.

Greatly appreciated

Well there is not a lot of shops but you can find figures at the following ones :
- cine creatif - http://www.cinecreatif.com/index.php :undoubtedly the best one but it is not in Paris even if you can go there with subway.
- EOL - http://www.eol-model.fr/ - close to Le Louvre ; a lot of old items but expensive (+ 30%)
- Euromaquettes - www.euro-maquette.com - some interesting items
- Blast models - http://www.phpshopxml.com/blamod.shop : military figures + tanks.
- Azimut productions - http://www.azimutproductions.com/ : military stuff

I think that's all the folks.

Cheers

Didier

Guy,

I would just echo what Didier said - the EOL shop is in a great location behind the Louvre & therefore v. easy to get to. However, he's pricey (as might be expected in that location?)

There's a lot to see in Paris as well as model shops........ Once your wife & Grand daughter find Boulevard Haussman, then there will be no money left for models...........

Hope they have a great trip as it's a wonderful city!

In fact Eol is a very old shop in APris and bordeaux. A few years ago, there were 3 or 4 shops in Paris close to Quartier Latin. They closed them and restocked all the stuff in a new shop Rue du Louvre. But rents are expensive... Nevertheless you can find out of product figures from Sol, EMI... if you are OK to pay for them.

Maybe it's me,
But i never find a cheap shop in Paris. They are always asking the jackpot.
Nevertheless, this year on our way back home from vacation there is again a stop planned near Paris. WHYYYYYYYYY, because i love that city.

It is true that French shops are a bit more expensive. In my opinion, Azimut productions are the cheapest but they have no longer any figures in stock except military figures. The best is to go on their website and to compare before going there.
