Wow thats amazing, love the SBS. Will (if okay with you) convert it to a word document and print out for reference. I will have to see how i can translate your colours into the paints i have (andrea flesh set), assuming i keep the colours transparent (Glazes?) it should work in a similar way. Got a couple of grey heads i can try it on. With the black and white, take it - black from 45 degrees - shooting upwards and white 45 degrees shooting down from the top ?

Yes, regardless of the paints or colors, as long as you're working with glazes, everything should work the same way.
Regarding the priming, I prime the entire piece black, from all the angles (not just the bottom). After the entire piece is primed black, I think go in with the white exactly like you said. I also though go in with another very light round of white spraying it directly on top of the model from a 90 degree angle, to really emphasize that that's the part getting the most light.
