Looks like the cloth from an old seaside deck chair, pretty good.

Ah yes that's a good reference picture and I see what you mean about the cloth of the chair. It looks like the jacket and trousers are slightly different colours, I remember my father saying not many of them had matching sets when he did his National Service. Good luck with the medal ribbons.

Damned,now you say it,yes there is a difference between them,the jacket is like more green ??? you see it very good, and now hé ??? it must be good ,don't talk about the ribbons please now
can't see it very good,and first must the jacket be OK,so must repaint it,but what colors then hé ,brown/green???????

Oops sorry mate, I reckon you could get away with tinting the jacket with some highly controlled green washes, but really don't sweat it, this is your version you are allowed to make it look better.

absolute no sorry,but stil haven't paint yet :) thinking what to do??? I thought washes with olive grey,but........ mmmmm ,

Really didn't mean to cause you any issues Mario in my defence that is the first time I have seen that picture in colour. If you are going to try and change it try on a practice piece first until you get the technique right. Good luck mate.

Monty is almost done,after struggling with the ribbons,I don't see it good,so they have a color and it's fine for me,I can't do more
have worked on his chair also,put the sand on the base and flowers also,only the static grass,put everything on there place
and he is done, (y)

Like Simon says, that chair looks great, the stripes will really pop this when you put it all together. About the colours in the photograph, is it an original colour photograph, or a colourised black and white one? Either way, dont take the colours as gospel, an original photo would be 80 years old, and colourised photos are an artists impression....
You are doing fine, I would not change anything on account t of the photograph.

no that is an colorized picture ,not original and yes,that are not the real colors,but he is together now and they look

thanks :) yes,that are almost the colors from the chair where he is sitting on,but you can't see very much of the colours,
so I have done old ones, it's a very nice figure to me and thanks for the comment (y)
