thanks for the idea - I have a mental picture of a souped up 1930s style hot rod, all exhaust pipes, boat tail, wire wheels, and hooting good fun!
May have to do the 'Good Duck Hunting' idea; that really appeals!!

yeah, sculpting looks scary, but it's not as bad as it appears. I chose Sitting Duck as a first sculpt, because of the various reasons in my first post; simple, no fancy textures, no fiddly details, and a lot of 'play' when it comes to accuracy.
Now I am tackling a more ambitious task, the "Yukata" sculpt. Its a good goal, because it will make me 'stretch' my skills. Fortunately, I will have a lot of resources (from here) and feedback (also from here ).
I'm not expecting perfection first time round. I expect a series of reworks, 'nearly there's ", and "almost, not quite" which equals reworks. But life is pretty similar, so that's a workable philosophy for now.
