SK Miniatures Latest Releases
I’m releasing 3 more of the former Fort Duquesne Samurai range at Euro Militaire.
They are:-

1) Date Masamune
2) Kato Kiyomasa
3) Takeda Shingen
They are all 1/9th Busts
Sculpted by Augie Rodriguez and cast in resin with some smaller parts in white metal.
Box art by Jim Johnston.
These will be re-launched at Euro-Militaire next weekend.
More to come – watch this space....

Happy for those whoe likes
I have received those busts from a friends some months ago; ok good sculpting job, but they are not what we can call " colourfull " compare to the Lamb
Momoyama or his Poste Mil on Horse .

Its good to see more of these becoming available again. Having done them all first time round I guess I will have to wait until some time next year to get the new MAEDA Toshinaga :)

As to not being colourful subjects, I'd agree that the later Sengoku armour may not offer the range of lacing colours but even if paited up in the correct colours these can hardly be termed dull especially if you opt to use gold and silver leaf on some of the kabuto.
Hideyoshi there were eight busts in the original FD line up and they are the first eight here

Hi Steve!

GREAT news!!! I obviously knew about K. Kiyomasa and Date, but I'm sitting here grinning like a Cheshire cat with the news of the "Warlord of Kai"!!! I have but one spare of these--and it took me years to hunt it down! I will add to the "safety net" in the immediate future. 4 down. . . 4 to go. . . :D

I hate to be doing this to you, but in the interest of "accuracy", the boxart for K. Kiyomasa was painted by the late Robert C. Knee, Jr. The only other boxart not painted by Jim, if memory serves, was Yamamoto Kansuke, painted by Phil Kessling.

Have a great Euro-Militaire, Steve! If there is anything I can do at this end from afar, please do not hesitate.

Back to the bench! Best regards,

Augie

PS--Thanks to everyone for your kind comments and enthusiastic response!!! As much as these pieces are an immense source of pride for me, I can honestly say that the best is yet to come! Stay tuned. . .
