The very talented Sid Naique posted about his new bust in the Digital Sculptors page and I am delighted to have added his bust of Skanderbeg to the Scale Collectables web site

Gjergj Kastrioti (1405 - 1468) was commonly known as Skanderbeg was a Lord and Warrior who led combined tribes from what is now modern day Albania in a rebellion against the Ottoman Empire during the 15th Century and who is today celebrated as a national hero

The amount of detail Sid has put into the bust is amazing from Skanderbeg's craggy features, unique Goat helmet and fine mail armour. The bust is in 3 parts and the 1/6th scale stands at 115mm in height

This is an exciting project by Sid and I hope it is the first of many more historically based pieces from this fantastic sculptor

Hi there Mark

A unusual and detailed piece with the distinctive helmet ...a focal point on any display

The face is excellent , bags of character

Not too sure ref the mail but no doubt it's fully referenced

Thanks for sharing

This should give you an idea on how to paint him.

I think it will paint up nicely.

What's the mail like, Malc? It looks a bit odd in the pics, but it might just be the pictures.

Hi Steve

It is exactly as it appears in the photos, and I can see what you mean, the links could be a bit closer together vertically, but I'm sure
It will paint up ok.

Hi Steve

I've had a closer look and the mail is fine, very precise and well detailed. It will paint up perfectly.
