Hello everyone!

Would like to share the bust I have been painting a while ago, mainly was to practice painting skin tone. The bust is from MJ miniatures, Tiger Ace in Normandy 'Michael Wittmann'.
Cheers,
H.H

Hi Nap, I used Jo Sonja paint for all the skin tones. The color I used was
Provincial Beige,
Napthol Crimson,
Jaune Brilliant,
Unbleached Titanium, White,
Brilliant Violet.
The skin texture was painted with dotting technique, thin down the paint with lots of water. Thank you for your interest :)

Cheers H

I take it that the dotting is built up , do you work on all the face or specific areas

Certainly works so well

Thanks for colours ..I use these as well ..still getting used to the tubes !

Thanks for sharing

Hi H.H.

Stunning work so far. Colours, shades, highlights and textures look great.

If you'd allow a comment I'd have to say the line from the tear duct of his left eye to his left cheek (I mean the figure's left, at the right side in the photo) looks a bit strange. This line does not indicate a specific muscle in the face and it is also not symmetrical with the right side of the face, on which this feature looks more accurate to me. Should still be quite easy to adapt though.

Having said that, still a very well painted face!

Cheers
Adrian
