I like very much jaume. What did you use for the snow?
I haven't yet used any snow with my figures but it is one of those thing I would like to do.
I am thinking of using Metal Modeles Great War Italian Alpine soldier.

J,
Very nice indeed... I must say that the thing that I was looking at was the piece of cloth drapped over the horse... very subtle shading indeed.

Hi Jaume!

Wonderful painting work!the dio suggest the cold of russia.....

I have a question for you: since in next few days I will have to paint a german camo(splinter para camo) , I'd like to know how do you highlight and shadow the various colour of the paras suite: do you highlight every single colour or do you use a standard colour on the entire camo??

If I have to paint a SS camo scheme what type of tecnique do yuo use to highlight and shadow it??

Thanks for your answer!

Hi Jaume,

This is superb!!! Did you also paint the canon?

I have one special question for you : how did you paint that horse? I have several mounted figures I want to paint but I have never painted a horse before, so all help is greatly appreciated!!!

Excellent work as usual!

Jaume Hi and hello!! Long time no speak !!

Nice diorama. The setup works fine , the base dimensions serve it perfectly and the groundwork formation and execution is out of the question !!!!!!

Pretty good job my friend !!!!!!

Jaume,
perfection as usual! Really convincing snow and mud! The figures are as usual, outstanding. I like the horses neck and head stretched out against the weight of the cannon. Great stuff!

Jaume,
Just saw the photos from Torrent and it caught my eye right away. Had no idea you created this little masterpiece.
Beautiful figures and horse,.... and a very convincing winter landscape.
Just Great !!! (y)
Cheers,
A.

Hi Jay,

I'm glad you like the horse. I put a lot of effort into making his body language and expression purposeful... and enjoyable it was too. Believe it or not, this horse began as one of the pair in Esci's classic German Supply Wagon - although not much is left of it.

Of course, I also want to thank you all for your comments, on Jaume's and on my own behalf.

Regards,

Dani
