How did we get on to song lyrics ? Unless it's got
something to do with the Cornish engineer Richard
Trevithick who invented the steam locomotive some
thirteen years before George Stephenson who stole
all the credit........ There can be no greater example
of re-casting than that !! And Trevithick is remembered
in a jolly little song which every schoolchild here knows
called 'Up Camborne Hill Goin' Down'...Great lyrics, eh?
Not heard of it ?.....Really ?.....Well I never !

Mike... I think what it is that in times like these we're all just trying to break away from getting too serious. I get serious and then realize it and try to break away into something that lightens things up a bit. That's my style and personality. Not everyone likes it. It's just me being me. To quote the words of my friend Popeye "I ams what I ams and that all that I ams."..........

Wayne:)

Oh.....I'm all for light-hearted, Wayne.If we stayed serious we'd all run mad...eh?
In my part of the world not being serious is a serious way of life :joyful: Keep up the
good work........

Mike

I was serious.....Would you rather see someone twerking and farting in your face? I just like songs that have meaning like Idda gadda da vida by Iron Butterfly.
Now I ask you.... Do you believe this to be to be true?

Wayne
Very serious. I worked in hmv when her first two albums were released so was forced to hear them constantly for years. I'd rather ram paint brushes in my ears that hear/watch her live.

Plus I know Croydon well so hearing her speak brings on a form of PTSD.

Give me Iron Maiden any day.
