Well here is the new baby I just finished. She is fully hand sculpted and hand painted. No molds used. She is a 100% hand sculpted original and "One Of A Kind" She is only 2 1/2" inches tall. I just love the softness of her. Call me crazy.... I continue to go from painting, sculpting, teddy bears etc.... I can't seem to stick to one thing. I wish I could.
Let me know what you think of "Sophia"
Have a GREAT day!

Kimberly, Very fine work. It has such a softness to it. I'm looking forward to that Indian sculpture. It's great to see something other than military or historical subjects.~Gary

PS, thanks for the kind words.

BEAUTIFUL WORK, Kimberly (y) (y) !!!!! It really reminds me of my daughter when she was asleep at "that" age (she's now 6 and still just as adorable  !!! ) KUDOS for a sculpt well done. Cheers !
Kenneth.

Hello Kimberly,

Very nice! Getting such a soft and smooth effect is not easy in miniature. You have done a really good job here. The subtle tinting of the skin helps enhance this effect. Excellent!

I second Gary's comment regarding non-military subject matter. There is a whole huge world out there that can be depicted that does not involve people killing each other. I think we need more of that!

Yeah, make love, not war! I think that is what you have done here!

Cheers!!

Mike

Hi Kimberly
Great skin tones what paint do you use?
Pete
I just use cheap arcrylics. The kind at Michaels. I think like .99 cents. I use them with water- Takes about 5 - really thinned out coats. Works great and drys quick! Hope that helps.
P.S Michaels has them on sale through Sat or Sun for .49 cents.

Thank-you! Went to the book store today. I did buy my son a book on Civil War guns etc..... He loves it. I looked at some Indian books but didn't quite find what I am looking for. They mostly had above the waist shots. Great picutres! But I want the full body.
Thanks for looking!

Hi Gary,
Your tutorials are truly inspiring. Very informative. The best I have EVER seen.
As for those Indians- I need to find a great full body picture. The kind that just grabs at you and says- "get the clay"
I just posted some better pictures on my site if you want to take a look.
Thanks again Gary. You are the best!
