Moi mokulat!

Nice to see your work again Pekka. Are you burning the midnight oil for Euro Militaire?

I like the figures a lot as they remind me of pictures from the period and movies made later.

The trousers on the man crossing his arms are great. And so is the jacket on the man walking with his suomi(?) machingun.

However I find the soldier sitting on the cart looking a little odd in his pose. Could be the angle but his torso seems a bit long which make the waist bend a little bit off?

I surely must do a finnish scene soon. :)

Cheers

Wow, am I happy! Thank you. Your comments really encourage me to continue this interesting learning process called sculpting . I´ve started painting and to my total suprise it is going well. Then again it´s only what I and my family think ;) I´ll post some pictures later so I´ll get second opinions.
Mike, great to hear from you. No chances of seeing you at Euro??
Janne, I was hoping to capture the mood of the summer 44, so it´s nice if you get the same feeling. I concur with you about the rider . He might be a tad too tall...
I´m painting him as a member of the roma people , a gypsy. It was very common that they served as horse drivers during the war.
