These are shots of some of my early figures from the old CIV Miniatures range I promised to share with Roger Newsome a few weeks ago.
The first is a 1/32 scale US Cavalry man from the early 1870's in Swiss blouse which wasn't a very popular item of equipment and didn't last long at all. I'm not a hundred percent sure now as it has been so long since I made this guy but, I think he is the first figure completely scratch build by me. Earlier I made use of Airfix multi-pose figures with all the associated scraping and carving, ugh!
This next figure is also in 1/32 scale and is modeled from a photo in one of the old Squadron books though I don't recall which one. It is Russian, winter 1941-42 when makeshift winter clothing was the norm with many German troops. This guy is wearing long underwear over his uniform for warmth and camouflage.
These next three figures are 1/35 scale WW 2 Germans, a couple tankers and an SS infantryman.
Last are two 1/35 scale female nudes, any period will apply fine, in fact I recall one of my customers of the time using one for a scene in Captain Kirks stateroom.
