Very, very nice Glen! All are tip-top! Love the French Canadian!
More pictures with the Landsknecht, pleeeeeeease! (y)
Are you coming down to Valley Forge this year? Looking forward to see you and Ray again!
Cheers my friend!
Zeno :)

Many thanks Zeno! Sadly I don't think I'll be able to swing Valley Forge this year. Travel from Western Canada is so expensive, I can really only afford one trip a year presently. When I retire I'll be able to travel more and plan on hitting all the big shows. Still, perhaps we'll meet again in Chicago this year as I am planing on returning for MMSI in October.

Very nice work. Seeing them all together like this shows your 'style' of painting very nicely. I'm especially fond of the Frenchman, who has the air of a Gallic shrug that is about to happen. (Funny I've seen the figure painted before and don't remember this feel, so it must be down to your painting - Bravo!)

Thanks DaddyO. I thought that this figure had a lot of character to start with, so it was relatively easy to paint it expressively. I am very glad you think I have a "style", I think it is something we all strive to develop as we progress through this hobby, so I am pleased that you have seen something unique in my work. I'll try to continue to work on developing it further.

You tricked us by throwing three well done pieces at the same time...hard to choose which is the best .Only to say,all three are very well done......keep up the good work.........Wayne

Thanks very much Adrian, appreciate it! And thanks also Wayne, to be honest I was too lazy to finish them, so they sat around in various stages of completion for a few months until this last weekend. It was then I decided to get the camera out.

I too have painted the nuts planet French inf figure, it's a treat to paint and you have made a superb job of it.
Great figures
Bob

Glenn I like the Hindenberg best but all three are pretty nice. Hope to see you in Chicago again this tear, although I am anything but a sure thing at this early stage.

Colin

All three figures are top notch. My favorite is the French Canadian with the dog. I agree there are not may New France figures. I am working on a La Meridiana French trapper now. I will paint him with a Hudson Bay Company coat.

I sure hope to see you in Chicago as well Colin. I have volunteered to do some exam marking for the province this summer to raise a little extra cash, so hopefully the missus won't object.

La Meridiana have released some really nice looking figures covering New France, and I don't think you could go wrong with anyone of them. I did a Hudson's Bay point blanket coat on a Best Soldiers figure a few months ago and it's turned out to be one of my favourites! Would love to see your version when you're finished.

Nice work on all three.I look forward to more pics of the landsknecht. That guy really gives you the opportunity to cut loose and really fling the colour around.
I am tentatively aiming for another trip to Chicago so I hope to see these pieces up close.

Cheers Colin; At the moment, I am working on the excellent Alexandros models 75mm yioung Napoleon figure that released a few weeks ago, but I should take a few moments and finish my photography. I may have trouble picking my "line up" for the Chicago show. I really want to bring my "A" game this time, so I'll have some tough decisions to make. Hopefully I'll see you there!
