Something new for me: An ORC

Because my son ask me to sculp for him a fantasy figure, we search a long time for a good example.

Then we found following painting at the homepage from "blackpen" and after getting in contact with him, I start to sculp the "ORC" or "The one man army"

But here the painting

And now the first photos from my try

The next I will try to sculp the head with the helmet.

Tanks a lot. There are many things to do and I think there will be some new things for me. The thing under his chin ( I don´t know the english word) seems to be fixed at one side at the helmet. I think that I must sculpt this part, the arms and the coat on his back separate and I don´t know at the moment how the fitting would be.

So I have some nice things to do

@ mcsneed17: No it would be no commercial figure. It is only a one off for my son. I sculpt only for me and some friends

Any Ork fans here?

I have finished some new parts of my ork called "one man army". The figure is for my son, which nickname in another forum is "one man army".

But here some picture. I am not really satisfied with the skull on his belt, but I hope it is not too bad.

If you compare the painting and the ork you can see that I have changed somes parts, but I have some problems to sculpt it like the painting.

I hope you like the figure a little bit
