The paints used on the horse and Tiger skin were for the horse, Old Holland oils , Burnt Siena , Naples yellow for the highlights and Mars Black for the deepest shades,.
The only medium I use on oils is turpentine , the paint is applied very diluted over a tamiya undercoat ;in this instance (Flat Earth 52) applied with an air brush.

The tiger skin was , gold ochre , Raw umber and a tad Tit White applied as above but dry on dry , same undercoat then a dusting of (Deck Tan XF 55 ).

Many thanks Ronaldo. You certainly move fast with your painting - it is coming along very nicely.
Regards

Chris

Hi Ron

The horse is really coming on now ...what's the "whiter" area on the the tiger skin ?

Figure coming along nicely as well ....what's your final detail bush size -2/0 ?

Thanks for sharing

Really nice work. Too bad that there are no better photos (sharper). Anyway, it looks really great!

Cheers Borek

The white area is a little milliput pad to attach the sabretache onto Kevin as I am using a MM one ,normally I would use a Historex sabretache as they are much lighter , so just a safety net

Re detail brushes Kevin I normally use WN Series 7 0or 00 standard or short hair , tried all sorts of others but none really compare for longevity re point retention .
Many moons ago I used to use the kolinsky sables from Historex but have no idea what they are like these days.
