Somme 1916

I must make some better photos next week, but here are the first shots from my "Somme 1916". I have some problems with the base and so I try to cover it with something that looks like a trenchwall

the base looks great.
I should give the face more contrast, it seems that it is very pale (could be the lightning).
And in this picture it seems that you have overpainted the uniform, specially the highlight.

I wait for the next pictures to see if I make the wrong conclusion.

Marc: I had some problems with the face, because it is "flat", no expression. But I will see. The uniform is better if you can see the scene in flesh. I will try to make better photos.

Like the idea of the base, but the soldier needs a bit mud and dust in that trench.
